His presence during the sessions and his loving touch can provide:

- mood improvement and overall support during a difficult journey of trauma disclosures and psychoanalytic work
- opportunity to develop communication skills for children impacted by trauma

Cookie is 18 months old and is newly trained as a therapy dog. He is affectionate and loving, seeking proximity and contact with people. He is also relaxed and calm all the time, preferring to chill on the floor until called for. He loves children and is very patient with them, hence he is suitable to assist with therapy for both adults and children.
