Initial Assessment Interview: The first appointment is not a structured process but rather just a conversation where we sit, observe and communicate to find what options could be the most suitable match for your mental health and wellbeing. We cover:
1. Your concerns and current presenting issues.
2. The effect of those on your daily functioning and your expectations from treatment.
3. Information about how I work and most effective treatment options to explore in your particular situation and trauma recovery (as it may not necessarily be individual trauma counselling with me)
Face-to-face or ZOOM session: 180 AUD/ 50 min. Private health fund rebates available. Medicare rebates available with a GP referral. Please enquire and book your appointment here.
Cancellation policy:
I have a strict cancellation policy. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, I charge the full session amount. You may be asked to provide your credit card details at the time of booking or by completing the intake form during your first appointment, to authorize those charges from your credit card.
Payment AND FUNDING options:
EFTPOS, cash, EFT. All cards accepted, but attract 3% surcharge.
Private health fund rebates: please check your cover for ‘counselling and psychotherapy’ extras.
Please note: Medicare rebates will be available in early 2026!
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), WorkCover claims and Victim Services claims are BULK BILLED. Please ask me if you need help navigating these.
